On January 29, 2024, in order to implement the “Initiative on International Trade and Economic Cooperation Framework for Digital Economy and Green Development”, CCCME successfully held the Central Asia Digital Economy and Green Development International Cooperation Salon in Beijing. Deputy Director General of the Department of International Trade and Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce Zhang Dong and CCCME Vice President Liu Chun addressed the meeting. Representatives from ITC, the Embassy of Belarus in China, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, Kazakh Invest and other international organizations, embassies in China and enterprises delivered a speech respectively. CEEC, ZTE, CICC and other companies’ representative shared their views on green development, digital economy and financial cooperation. About 50 government representatives and business professionals from China and Central Asia attended the meeting and engaged in exchanges.
