China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (“CCCME”, “we”, or “us”) recognizes the importance of privacy and confidentiality of personal information. This Privacy Policy is part of CCCME Online Expo (the Platform) User Service Agreement. The platform relies on CCCME’s more than 30 years services for high-quality suppliers, international purchasers in the machinery and electronic field, specializes in combination of online trading and offline exhibition, and provides convenient, efficient, and exclusive digital foreign trade service platform for registered enterprises. This Platform is used for business-matchmaking, connecting suppliers and international purchasers, therefore, anything related to deal, including but not limited to negotiation, agreement, payments, clearance, after-sale services shall be done by both parties at their discretion and CCCME shall not be responsible for any part of the deal.

This privacy policy specifies the methods of collecting, using and disclosing information related to the operation of the platform, including but not limited to the information obtained and collected by CCCME from registered users, suppliers and purchasers of the platform, their employees, contacts or other representatives, individual purchasers and platform visitors (hereinafter referred to as "you"). This privacy policy applies to "CCCME Online Expo", related websites www.cccme.org.cn, mobile phone apps, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "platform"), using mobile devices (optimized mobile phone website) to visit our platform also applies to this privacy policy. If you have any questions or concerns about the use of your personal information, please see section HOW TO CONTACT US below.

Our platform has a jump link to a third-party platform (the official website of the supplier). We specifically state to you that this policy does not apply to third-party applications or software integrated with our platforms, products and / or services, or third-party products, services or businesses (collectively, the "third party services"). Third party services are subject to their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for the collection, processing and protection of personal information subject to third party privacy policies. We recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of any third party before using them.


I.PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE MAY COLLECT


In order to improve the service quality and user experience, we will collect and retain the information about your use of the service and related use methods. According to the different functions of different products, we will explain how your information is collected and saved when you use the corresponding products. There are three main ways for us to obtain your information:


1.Information That You Provided to us


(1)Registration or Account information, Enterprises and products information

We will collect your account information when you register as a user on the platform, including but not limited to your company name, business type and industry, contact person, title and department, telephone, email address, and the purchase information (i.e. pictures, prices, functions, etc.). You can modify the above content after login.


(2)Complaint Information

We will deal with information provided to us in relation to disputes or complaints about goods and / or services purchased by or through the platform. Please note that buyer and / or seller may submit complaints and / or disputes between buyer and seller with respect to the products and services on the platform, and in such cases, we will process the data provided to us by buyer and / or seller in connection with the dispute or complaint submitted. Such data may include data from end users who purchase products on the platform (which may include minors, if applicable) to handle complaints and / or resolve disputes, which relate to disputes or complaints reviewed by the platform, and individuals have expressly agreed to share such data with us.

The information you submit to the platform for publication may be published publicly on the platform, so any Internet user can see the information. You should make a careful decision on the content of the information to be submitted to us for publication.


1.Information That You Provided to us


(1)If you contact us (e.g. via chat service, phone or email), we may ask you for additional information to verify your identity in order to secure your account. In order to facilitate contact with you, help you solve problems as soon as possible or record the solutions and results of related problems, we may keep your communication / call records and related contents (account information, other information you provide to prove relevant facts, or your telephone number, email address and other contact information).


(2)We will collect users' contact information and other information from publicly available sources for verification and due diligence.


(3)In order to facilitate the communication between purchasers and suppliers, employees, contact persons or other representatives of the enterprise and individual purchasers can make inquiries through instant messaging and leaving messages on our platform.


(4)We may collect detailed information about the activities, transactions and interactions of users on the platform, including information related to the type and specification of products and services, price and delivery information, records of disputes and complaints, communications between users, and information disclosed in any platform.


(5)Sometimes, we may also collect information about existing and potential users during exhibitions, industrial events and / or other social gatherings, including but not limited to the name, address, telephone number, fax number and email address of the representative contact person.


(6)If you visit our platform, we will automatically collect some information from your device. In order to provide you with more targeted and effective services, we will also collect your visit records (i.e. the web pages you visited, the search history, cookies, and the device information you logged in to the platform. The details are as follows:

·Network identity information (platform account, IP address, email address and related password, password security, etc.)

·Online records (users' visit times, visiting pages, attention to exhibitors and exhibits, visiting time, visiting duration, inquiry, etc.)

·Personal device information (device name, device model, device MAC address, unique device ID, software list, operating system and application version, language settings, etc.)

In some countries or regions, including those in the EEA, such information may be treated as personal information under applicable data protection laws. Specifically, this information may include IP address, device type, unique device ID, browser type, general geographic location (such as country / region or city), browsing mode, and details of how you interact with our platform and the goods and services on our platform.


(7)In addition, we collect statistics about the platform and its visitors, including browser software, operating system, software and hardware properties, pages visited, number of sessions, and number of independent visitors. Gathering this information allows us to better understand the visitors who visit our platform, where they come from and what they are interested in. We use this information for internal analysis purposes to improve the quality and relevance of our platform. Some of this information can be collected through cookies, as further described in "cookie" below.

Please note that your search keyword information can't identify you individually and is not your personal information. We have the right to use it for any purpose. Only when your search keyword information is combined with your other information and can identify your identity, we will take your search keyword information as your personal information during the combined use, together with your search history, is processed and protected in accordance with this policy.

For the avoidance of ambiguity, the above situations do not correspond to the types of personal information we collect. Personal information collected in one of the above situations may also be collected in other situations mentioned above.


II.USE OF PERSONAL DATA


In order to provide services to you, improve the quality of our services and optimize your service experience, we will use your personal information in compliance with the law or under your authorization, and mainly for the following purposes::


(1)Verifying your identity and conducting security check, "Know Your Customer" and other background check in order to approve your platform account;


(2)Verifying your qualification for registration as users on the platform or participating in other activities held by CCCME ;


(3)Setting up / administering user accounts, including providing log-in IDs and perfect personal information on the platform;


(4)Providing customer service support, responding to your queries, feedback and managing complaints and/or disputes;


(5)Provide services to facilitate transactions and provide contact and business information to consultants;


(6)Assessing and monitoring account security, detecting, preventing and investigating fraud, money laundering, security incidents and other activities which are illegal or violating our agreement、policies or rules so as to protect you, other users, us or related parties;


(7)Sending and serving tailored marketing and advertising or other content that we believe will be of interest to you based on the ways in which you use the Platform, your browsing records, and order history;


(8)We may combine the personal information and transaction information from a certain service with the information obtained from other services for comprehensive statistics, analysis, research or processing, so as to provide you with more personalized services, or to improve the platform content and layout, etc.


(9)Conducting research and survey, to improve user experience, and to improve our product offerings and services;


(10)Identify, develop, market and promote products and services that we believe you will value, including across browsers and devices, in accordance with applicable law. If required by applicable law, we will seek your consent before sending you communications for marketing purposes.


(11)If you are the buyer, we will share the details of the products you have recently browsed on the platform, enquiries, purchasing requirements and relevant information to the seller, so that they can contact you with the details of the products and / or services you may be interested in. If you do not want to receive the above information, you can request to stop the service through contacting us.


(12)With the permission of applicable data protection laws, we may also use your personal information for purposes different from those we disclose to you. To the extent permitted by law, we may collect and use your personal information in the following situations without your authorization and consent, and we may not respond to your requests for correction / modification, deletion, cancellation, withdrawal of consent or request for information:

·Related to national security and national defense security;

·Related to public safety, public health and major public interests;

·Related to judicial or administrative law enforcement such as criminal investigation, prosecution, trial and sentence enforcement;

·For the purpose of safeguarding your or other personal life, property and other major legitimate rights and interests, but it is difficult to obtain my consent;

·Personal information that you disclose to the public by yourself;

·Collect personal information from legally disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure and other channels;

·Necessary for signing and performing relevant agreements or other written documents with you;

·Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the products and / or services provided, such as the detection and disposal of failures of products and / or services;

·Necessary for legitimate news reporting;

·Necessary for an academic research institution to carry out statistical or academic research based on the public interest and provide the results of academic research or description to the public, the personal information contained in the results is De-identified;

·Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations

III.DISCLOSURE OF SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION


You can establish relationships and share with each other through our services. When you create communication, transaction or sharing through our services, other users in the platform can also view your public information. Public information here refers to any information you voluntarily share publicly. Anyone can view or access this information. Please note that the information you voluntarily share when using our services may involve your or others' personal information or even sensitive personal information. Please be more careful about whether to share or even publicly upload relevant information when using our services.


When using the platform services, you will inevitably disclose your personal information to potential counterparties. Please protect your personal information properly and provide it to others only when necessary. If you find your personal information leaked, especially your account or password, please contact us immediately so that we can take corresponding measures. Your personal information is an important part of our services for you, and we will abide by the law and assume the obligation of confidentiality for your information. We will not disclose your personal information to a third party unless:


(1)Obtain your consent or authorization.


(2)According to the provisions of laws and regulations or the requirements or authorization of administrative and judicial organs.


(3)For the purposes set out in the " Use of Personal Data" section, the obligations in this Privacy Policy and the exercise of our rights to share your information with our related parties, partners, or third parties performing a function on our behalf (the communications service provider that sends push notices on our behalf).


(4)You understand and agree that, as a platform party, in some cases, only by sharing your information can we provide the services you need, or handle complaints or disputes between you and others.


(5)According to the legal provisions and reasonable business practices, when we need to accept due diligence from other entities, we will provide your information to the necessary subjects, but we will require them to take reasonable confidentiality measures for your personal information by signing confidentiality agreements with these subjects.


(6)When you violate applicable laws and regulations, or violate the relevant agreements (including electronic agreements signed online) or relevant rules signed with us, we need to disclose them to a third party.


(7)In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of us and related parties or other users.


(8)Other necessary platform users to facilitate transactions and communications between you and other users;


(9)Third party business partners, service providers we employ or work with who help us provide services to you or otherwise process personal information for the purposes stated in this privacy policy, or notify you when we collect your personal information. The categories of such partners or service providers include but not limited to: CCCME and / or its designated service providers, who cooperate with us to provide processing services such as software, tools and systems and notification services for the purposes stated in this privacy policy; cloud computing service providers providing cloud storage services, etc.


(10)We may also disclose or transfer your personal information to our professional advisers, law enforcement agencies, insurance companies, government and regulatory and other bodies, if we consider it necessary to comply with applicable laws or to exercise, establish or maintain our legal rights or protect the vital interests of you or any other person.

(12)We may provide aggregated or anonymous data to a third party, but in that case, we share non identifiable information that cannot identify you personally.


IV.PROTECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION


To protect your information security, we strive to take all kinds of physical, electronic and management security measures in line with industrial standards to protect your personal information and prevent your personal information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss. We will take all reasonable and feasible measures to protect your personal information.


Please note that individual device information, search keyword information can not directly establish contact with any specific person, so they are not personal information. If we combine such non personal information with other information to identify a natural person, or use it in combination with personal information, such device information will be treated as personal information during the period of combined use.


We will take all reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that personal information irrelevant to the realization of the service function is not collected. We will only retain your personal information for the period required to achieve the purpose stated in this policy, unless the retention period needs to be extended or is permitted by law.


The Internet is not a secure environment. We strongly recommend that you use complex passwords to help us ensure the security of your account.


The Internet environment is not secure and we will try our best to ensure the security of any information you send to us,to prevent your information from unauthorized access, public disclosure, tampering, or destruction of information, resulting in the damage of your legitimate rights and interests.


In case of an information security incident, we will inform you of the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, the suggestions that you can prevent and reduce the risk independently, and the remedial measures for you, according to the requirements of laws and regulations. We will inform you of the relevant information in the form of email, letter, and telephone and push notice in a timely manner. When it is difficult to inform the information subject one by one, we will release an announcement in a reasonable and effective way.


At the same time, we will actively report the disposal of information security incidents in accordance with the requirements of regulatory authorities.


V.RETENTION OF YOUR INFORMATION


As long as we have any legitimate business need to retain your personal information, such as providing services or products to you, we will keep your personal information on the server.


When we do not have any legitimate business to process your personal information, we will delete the information or anonymize it. If the above operation cannot be achieved (for example, because your personal information is stored in backup memory), then we will take good care of your personal information and will not further process it until it can be deleted.


Personal information used to identify you and reflect related activities will be retained until the user cancels the account, unless it is required or permitted by law to retain it for a longer period of time.


VI.MANAGEMENT OF YOUR INFORMATION


CCCME attaches great importance to your personal information and tries its best to protect your rights of inquiry, correction, deletion, cancellation of account and withdrawal of consent for your personal information, so that you have sufficient ability to protect your privacy and security. You can perform such operations by accessing the platform:


1.Query and correct personal information

You can log in to your account and query your personal information in the "user center". If you need to modify the information, you can log in to your account directly to modify it. If your relevant account information (mobile phone number and email address) can no longer be used, you can contact us to modify your account information.


2.Delete your personal information and cancel your account

(1)You can use the registered email address to send us an email stating the reason why you need to cancel your account;

(2)You can also use the registered mobile phone number to call us, and we will help you process the account information after verifying the information with you;

(3)You can also provide the user account information change application form, take a clear picture of the application form and send it to us in the form of email attachment. We will help you deal with it as soon as we receive it.


VII.COOKIES

1.What is cookie?

Essential Cookies: These cookies are strictly necessary for enabling access and use of our Platform. They provide necessary functionality to ensure the proper performance, security and functionality of our Platform. These cookies cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies: These cookies collect information in aggregate form to help us determine and understand how users interact with and use our Platform. We use this information to help us to improve and optimize our Platform and its security.
Personalization Cookies: These cookies can remember your computer or mobile device when you visit the website. It records your registration and login details as well as settings and preferences such as language and region. These cookies are also used to ensure that you do not need to log in every time you use a browser to comment on an article, and to ensure efficient interactive services. 4.?What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?

Certain features of the Platform depend on cookies. Please be aware that if you choose to block cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use those features, and preferences that are dependent on cookies may be lost.


VIII.CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical or business developments. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. For example, as required by applicable data protection law, we will seek your consent when it comes to changes in any substantial content in this Privacy Policy on the Platform.


We will release the revised privacy policy on the platform for notification. Once the new privacy policy is released on the platform, it will take effect immediately. You can view the last update time of this privacy notice by viewing the "last update" date at the top of the privacy notice.


IX.VISITORS FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION


This section applies if you are based in the European Economic Area (which for the purposes of this Privacy Policy shall include the UK in the event of the UK's departure from the European Union) ("EEA"). We process personal information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Our legal basis to process for processing your personal information will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it but will include where it is:

2.Your Rights

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the following data protection rights, which you can exercise at any time by contacting us to exercise your rights at any time:

(2)The right to object to processing of your personal information when it is based on legitimate interests, and the right to object direct recommendation.

(3)The right to ask us, in some situations, to restrict processing of your personal information or request portability of your personal information.

XI.Language


If there is any conflict between the English version and Chinese version of this Privacy Policy, the Chinese version shall prevail.
