On the afternoon of July 7, 2026, the inaugural meeting of the China-Netherlands CEO Council was held in Beijing. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and co-organized by the CCCME and the VNO-NCW, the meeting featured addresses by Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Sjoerd Sjoerdsma. Over 60 business representatives from both countries attended.
