On May 22, the Sino US provincial economic and trade cooperation seminar was held in Taiyuan during the 12th Expo Central China. Around 150 representatives of local governments and business circles from Shanxi, Hunan, Jiangxi, Hubei, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang and Tianjin, and representatives and business circles of California, New York, Iowa and Chicago, etc. attended the seminar. The participants discussed the two topics: US investment in China and China's investment in the United States, and talked on strengthening economic and trade exchanges between China and the United States, promoting mutual benefit and win-win development, interpreting relevant policies, sharing successful cases, analyzing opportunities and challenges facing China US economic and trade relations, and exploring business opportunities for practical cooperation. CCCME Vice President Liu Chun attended the event and made a speech at the working group forum. At the same time, as the Chinese Secretariat of Working Group of China and California/ Michigan, CCCME assisted in inviting relevant member provinces, US Secretariat and related enterprises to participate in the meeting.
