BEIJING - The Ministry of Commerce will levy anti-dumping duties on some alloy-steel seamless pipes imported from the European Union and the United States from Saturday.
The imported pipes, which are designed for high temperatures and pressure, have damaged Chinese producers, the ministry said on Friday.
Companies which import such products will pay anti-dumping duties to customs. Duty rates will range between 13 percent and 14.1 percent, the ministry said.
The ruling came after a one-year probe launched on May 10, 2013.
Such pipes from Japan were also involved in the probe, but no anti-dumping measures will be levied on them due to the small amount, the ministry said.
