Wuhan Kaidi Electric Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “company”) is a domestic limited liability company, with public offering shares and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 000939). The company is organized by oriented collection and limited by shares, with cooperation of Beijing Zhonglian Power Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric (as part of new Wuhan University formed in August 2000), Wuhan East Lake New Technology Venture Center, and Wuhan University of Hydraulic & Electric Kaidi Science & Technology Development Company. The company was established on March 26th, 1993, with total capital of 30.6 million shares.

In February 1996, capital and stock of the company was increased to the total capital of 58 million shares.

On September 23rd, 1999, 45 million shares were issued to the public and listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and the capital of company increased to 103 million shares.

In April 2000, the company issued 4 bonus shares for every 10 exisitng shares held, and the total capital of company was increased to 144.2 million shares.
In Sep. 2000, the company issued 5 bonus shares for every 10 existing shares, and the total capital of company was increased to 216.3 million shares.

In June 2004, the company again issued 3 bonus shares for every 10 existing shares, and the total capital of company was increased to 281.19 million shares.

On March 28th, 2008, 87.29 million shares of ordinary share capital were issued to Wuhan Kaidi Holding Investment Co., Ltd., the largest shareholder at the price of 8.12 yuan per share, to purchase assets, and the total capital of the company was increased to 368.48 million shares.
