Shangyu Engine Machinery Co., Ltd. was reconstructed from Shangyu Engine Works in 1997, which began in 1958. Through many years accumulation, especially through the scheme and construction of "five year plan"-- "7£¿5", "8£¿5" and first three years of "9£¿5", now the company has a capacity as follow: the annual output of various types of crankshaft 600,000 pieces, small single-cylinder diesel engine 80,000 sets, electric bike 10,000 sets, spraying machine 500 sets and superior casting 10,000 tons. The newest advanced casting technology for nodular-cast-iron finished within "8£¿5" period was appraised and confirmed by the Ministry of Mechanical Industry in 1993 that this technology is an important breakthrough of crankshaft production and its products quality and process have a lead of domestic and reach international level. In 1997, the company passed the inspection of state class "Torch" project and was listed in state class high technical enterprise. Depending on the high level scientific and technical group as well as the exquisite equipment and the research achievement, the company has formed a reliable quality assurance system and rich fundament for products development. With helping of high quality staff, company has always been supplying the top grade products to many famous domestic engine works and has entered the international marked. In 1998, the company was included in "Small Type Giant" enterprise line which were cultivated and supported by the Zhejiang People's Government. In 1999, We gained the ISO9002 Quality System Certificate. The company is situated adjacent to Shanghai-Ningbo Expressway, Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway and No.329,104 State-highway. The company is the vicinity of 3,000 tons class Shangyu Port and is only 70 kilometers away from Hangzhou International Airport and Ningbo Airport.
