This wrap-around case packer is designed for collating stand-up pouches or doypacks and packaging them with carton boxes. The case packer, also called cartoning machine or cartoner, is a form-load-seal 3-in-1 monoblock cartoning machine, which integrates case forming, pouch loading, and case sealing into a single compact and efficient unit. It picks one-piece pre-creased cardboards from the storage tray, folds them to a U shape, conveys the folded carton blanks to the pouch loading station. The case packer is integrated with one or two pouch collating system. Each collating system consists of a buffering belt conveyor, acceleration belt conveyor, a dual-servo collator, a servo side pusher, and a buffering storage unit. It organizes pouches into rows, one at a time, delivers them to the loading funnel, and inserts them into a formed case. Then, the loaded case is conveyed to the next stations to be closed at the top and sealed at the minor flaps with hot melt adhesive.
