1.Machine introduction

GMC1530 gantry machining center is one of our self-developed cnc machines.The table moves longitudinally along with heavy duty linear roller guide of bed to finish X feed; the slider moves crossly along with heavy duty linear roller guide of beam to finish Y feed; ram moves vertically along with rectangular guide of slider to finish Z feed; the machine can carry out three axes linkage in the control of CNC system.

The overall layout of the machine tool is a fixed beam and fixed column gantry frame structure, with Z-grinding sliding guide rails, according to its good rigidity, strong shock absorption, wide processing range and good stability.The machine tool has various processing functions such as milling, boring, drilling (drilling, expanding, reaming), tapping, countersinking, etc.

The machine structure and technology is mature, quality is stable. It’s suitable for kinds of mechanical processing field,such as automotive,marine,printing,packaging,textile,military,mold etc. The machine has the characteristic of high efficiency,high accuracy and high rigidity etc.It’s an ideal choice for enterprise high efficiency and batch processing.

2 .Machine main features and characteristics:

2.1 Machine main parts include: base,table,column,beam,slider,ram,pneumatic system,lubrication system,cooling,safe guard,guide way guard,CNC system,

electric control,tool magazine etc.The bed is box structure design with high stability and rigidity.And bed,column,beam and table adopt high grade castings which are made aging treatment with good rigidity, stable accuracy,durable in use. 

2.2 The bed, table, column, beam, sliding board, ram, etc. are all 3D finite element optimized design, high quality and high strength Mi Hanna cast iron. Castings are tempered as a whole to eliminate casting stress. After rough machining, secondary aging treatment is used to further eliminate cutting stress and other perfect processes to ensure the stability of basic components.

2.3 The longitudinal movement of the worktable along the bed rail guide is the X axis, the horizontal sliding saddle moves along the beam guide rail laterally as the Y axis, and the ram head moves along the horizontal slide saddle vertical rail up and down as the Z axis.

2.4 axes structure:

  • Ø X: Two heavy-duty roller-type linear guides on the X axis are driven by AC servo motors to drive the ball screw pair through direct connection. The CNC system precisely controls the movement position.

  • Ø Y axis: the crossbeam guideway adopts two heavy-duty roller linear guideways with large span steps. The horizontal slide plate is directly connected to the high-precision ball screw pair through the servo motor to control the movement and position.

  • Ø Z axis: It adopts the six-sided hard rail structure of trapezoidal ram (optionally equipped with a four-sided embracing square ram 400X400 structure), and cooperates with the guide rail by manual scraping, which can not only ensure the accuracy of the guide rail but also greatly increase the life of the hard rail. The spindle head of the ram is directly connected to the high-precision ball screw pair through a servo motor to control the movement and position. The axis drive adopts a brake-type servo motor and a symmetrically arranged double-balanced oil cylinder balance structure, which effectively balances the weight of the ram, reduces the load of the motor, and increases the dynamic response speed.

  • 5. The machine tool adopts a six-sided hard rail structure with trapezoidal rams.  

The main drive is a belt spindle design. The German ZF 2K250 gearbox is optional to achieve high torque output of the spindle and improve workpiece processing efficiency.(If the machine tool adopts a four-sided embracing square ram 400X400 structure, the main transmission is the design of direct connection spindle, a large reduction ratio precision gear box, and a coupling.)

6. All relative moving parts of this equipment have a perfect centralized lubrication system, which can realize timing, quantitative automatic and manual lubrication, and can detect and alarm.

7.The machine has auto cooling device, and also has coolant recovery and recycle device.The cooling system is arranged for outer cooling of workpiece.It’s composed of water tank,pump motor,filter,necessary pipeline,valves and relevant hardware.Water gun is standard for cleaning.

8. pneumatic:the compressed air of this machine is mainly used to clean tools and tool holders etc.The pneumatic device should comply with relevant standard about pneumatic such as GB/T6576 etc.Air gun is standard for cleaning.

9.Machine tool protection

The machine tool is equipped with full protection (if with coolant through spindle,the protection is fully enclosed) to prevent iron chips and coolant from splashing. It is located at the front and right ends of the machine tool, and is equipped with openable doors to facilitate loading and unloading parts and operations. The bed guide rail adopts stainless steel telescopic protective cover, and the beam guide rail adopts an organ-type protective cover, and both are labyrinth dustproof.

The screw type chip conveyor can be equipped on left and right sides of machine table for collecting iron scurf conveniently.

  • 10. other configuration

⑴ The working area is equipped with lamp suitable for working at night.

⑵The machine is equipped with tricoloured light, it will remind three information:program running, work cycle completed and error warning.
