Jointly developed by CCCME and Academy for International Business Officials, MOFCOM, the opening ceremony of 2019 Workshop for Communication and Information Industry Officials and Entrepreneurs from Developing Countries has successfully held in Beijing on August 9, 2019. Thirty nine officials and entrepreneurs from fourteen developing countries were invited to the program. CCCME Vice President Mr. SHI Yonghong attended the opening ceremony on behalf of the organizers.

This is the first time that CCCME has selected the "communication information" industry as the theme for the workshop, which has received a warm response from the relevant developing countries. The number of trainees reached the highest this year. During 21 days of study, CCCME will arrange first-class domestic experts and scholars to introduce to the trainees the characteristics and development experience of China's major communications, information industry, as well as China's reform and opening up. CCCME will also explore new ways of bilateral cooperation with officials through various forms, and assist member enterprises to open up international markets in the field of communications and information on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win results. Officials will also conduct site visits to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan and Shaoguan city and have business matchmaking meetings with local companies.
