There are many business opportunities in the fields of engineering contracting, resource development and construction. The deep cooperation at the enterprise level is of great significance to the economic development of the two countries. This meeting gave priority to enterprise cooperation and projects implementation.

Vice Minister Barba said that the Philippines boasts a market of more than 100 million people and is currently in a phase of rapid economic growth. It is a country full of business opportunities. The Belt and Road initiative is quite beneficial to the Philippines, especially to its large-scale infrastructure construction plan being promoted by the Philippines, which will create more opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields such as engineering and construction.
