On August 26, 2019, CCCME successfully held the Seminar on Sri Lanka Trade and Investment Environment. The seminar focused on the topics which are in line with member enterprises’ demands such as Sri Lanka’s role in the Belt and Road Initiative, the trade and investment environment and investment policies in Sri Lanka and typical cooperative cases between China and Sri Lanka. Relative delegates from Sri Lankan Board of Investment, Citi Bank, D.L. & F De Saram Firm had in-depth discussions with representatives from member enterprises. Officials from Embassy of Sri Lanka in China and Asian Department of Economic Cooperation of MOFCOM proposed working guidance.
