On the afternoon of August 6 2019, the 2019 Mid-year Working Meeting of Business Forum Italy-China (BFIC) was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. Deputy Director-general Ji Xianzheng of Department of European Affairs of Ministry of Commerce of China attended and delivered a speech, and CCCME Vice President Liu Chun presided over the meeting. As the Secretariat, CCCME presented an overview of recent work. The meeting also realized an important breakthrough of deepening relations with local cities especially in the western regions, and explored a new way of serving the local work and participating in the local construction.

 At the meeting, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun made a report on the work of the committee by reviewing the work in the first half of the year and putting forward plans and suggestions for the work to be carried out in the second half of the year. During the communication and sharing session, representatives from 8 Board Member companies such as Bank of China, Genertec and China Cosco Shipping etc. actively shared the successful experience of cooperation with Italy and problems and challenges encountered, as well as put forward suggestions for the future work.
