Deputy Director General of Department of European Affairs of MOFCOM Visits CCCME
On the afternoon of July 24, 2019, the delegation led by Suo Peng, Deputy Director General of Department of European Affairs of MOFCOM visited CCCME and engaged in researches and exchanges on the topics of the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries as well as the industrial and regional cooperation between the Department of European Affairs of MOFCOM and the CCCME. CCCME Vice President Liu Chun presided over the meeting.
Vice President Liu Chun first welcomed the leaders of Department of European Affairs of MOFCOM. She introduced the overall business operation of CCCME and pointed out that CCCME attaches great importance to the work related to Central and Eastern European countries. Based on the stable political environment of both sides, the industrial base of the countries concerned and the current external international environment, the Central and Eastern European markets have gradually become important foreign investment and technical cooperation destinations for Chinese enterprises.
Deputy Director General Suo Peng briefed on the economic and trade development of Central and Eastern European countries. He pointed out that the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe boasts great potential. The needs of enterprises should be further matched with the cooperation mechanism so as to upgrade bilateral trade and promote cooperation.
