In order to actively implement the Belt and Road Initiative and jointly deliver on the eight major initiatives for China-Africa cooperation, during the First China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, CCCME and China-Africa Development Fund inked an MOU on Deepening Strategic Cooperation on June 27, 2019, in Changsha, Hunan Province. Featured in advancing China-Africa cooperation and boosting Africa’s industrialization through investment, the memorandum was signed by CCCME President Zhang Yujing and the President of China-Africa Development Fund Shi Jiyang.

Abiding by the MOU, the two sides will combine CCCME’s full coverage of industries with CADF’s rich experiences in investing in Africa, introduce those Chinese companies who have interests in and capability of going global to African businesses and make a variety of endeavors such as matchmaking, information exchanges and field trips. By doing so, Chinese companies can go global by a stronger group, which explores a way of contributing to the B&R Initiative, propelling international cooperation in industry capacities and achieving win-win results.
