On May 16, the first Thematic Conference on Financial Support of CEEC Investment Cooperation in 2019 was successfully held in Beijing. The conference invited heads of the Export-Import Bank of China, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and representatives of key member companies. During the conference, all parties had in-depth exchanges on issues of shared interest, including the investment environment in key CEEC countries, China-CEEC Investment Cooperation Fund, and key support areas and typical cases of EBRD. The conference was chaired by CCCME Vice President Liu Chun. CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong made a summary of the conference.
More than 60 representatives from more than 30 key member companies attended the conference, including China National Electric Engineering, Harbin Electric International, Sinohydro, China XD Group, CITIC Construction, and Energy China.
Based on areas of shared concern of member companies, CCCME Financial Work Committee will invite key financial insurance and professional consulting organizations to carry out exchange activities under different themes with key member companies. Through building a platform, the Financial Work Committee will establish mechanism cooperative channels for member companies and financial organizations, so as to jointly deal with problems encountered by enterprises in international projects contracting and investment cooperation, and help enterprises to expand overseas markets.
