On 18 May 2026, CCCME President Liu Chun met with Sorin Toader, Director General of the Department for Foreign Trade of Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARICE) and Romanian Co-Chair of the China-Romania Working Group on Trade and his delegation. They co-hosted a business roundtable. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the topics of bilateral trade, investment cooperation, alignment of key industries and information sharing, reaching a series of consensuses.
