On October 29, 2024, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng attended the 5th China-Finland Committee for Innovative Business Cooperation Meeting and delivered a speech in Beijing. Finnish President Alexander Stubb and over 100 political and business people of both sides were in attendance. Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Finnish Minister of Climate and the Environment Mykkänen co-chaired the opening ceremony. The meeting is co-sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland, and co-organized by CCCME, Confederation of Finnish Industries and Business Finland.
