On April 13th, the 4th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) hosted by Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hainan Province was successfully held in Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. Vice Chairman of Standing committee of NPC Peng Qinghua declared the opening of the Expo and delivered a speech. The Ambassador of Irish Embassy to China Ann Derwin addressed the meeting and read the congratulatory letter of Irish Foreign Minister Micheál Martin. Secretary of Hainan Province Feng Fei delivered welcome remarks. Governor Liu Xiaoming presided over the opening ceremony with the attendance of other provincial level leaders including Chairman of the CPPCC Li Canrong and Vice Secretary Shen Danyang. Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce Sheng Qiuping delivered a speech.
CCCME Executive Vice President Zheng Chao and General Secretary Guo Kuilong were invited to attend the opening ceremony and engage in the exhibition tours.
