On November 22, the China-Uruguay Green Economy and Digital Development Investment Forum, jointly organized by CCCME, the Uruguayan Embassy in China, and CGA, was held in Beijing. The President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Luis Lacalle Pou and CCCME President Zhang Yujing attended the forum and delivered speeches. Minister of Economy and Finance of Uruguay Azucena Arbeleche and Minister of Industry Energy & Mining of Uruguay Elisa Facio also spoke at the event. Approximately 130 government representatives, business leaders, including the Chinese Ambassador to Uruguay Huang Yazhong and Deputy Director General of Department of American and Oceanian Affairs of Minsitry of Commerce of China Dong Wei, participated in the forum for discussions and exchanges. Consul General of Uruguay in Chongqing Valentín Touris hosted the event.
