China Provinces - U.S. States Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar Successfully Held in Xiamen
On September 9, the China Provinces - U.S. States Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar was held in Xiamen. Assistant Minister of Commerce Chen Chunjiang, Vice Governor of Fujian Province Lin Wenbin, Senior Vice President of U.S.-China Business Council Matthew Margulies, and President of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China Harley Seyedin attended the seminar and delivered speeches. Representatives from Fujian, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hunan, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, and other provinces and autonomous regions in China, along with representatives from governments in the United States, including California, Missouri, Maryland, Oregon, and Illinois, as well as representatives from industrial and commercial circles, totaling about 210 people, attended the seminar. During the seminar, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening China Provinces - U.S. States economic and trade cooperation, promoting green development, interpreting policies and development trends, sharing successful experiences, and exploring ways to facilitate trade, technology exchange, and investment cooperation between China and the United States in the field of green and low-carbon development. The seminar was hosted by Ministry of Commerce of China and the People's Government of Fujian Province, and organized by CCCME, Xiamen Municipal People’s Government, and Department of Commerce of Fujian Province. The seminar was chaired by CCCME Vice President Liu Chun.
