On the afternoon of May 12, 2023 the Belt & Road Business Summit on Infrastructure and Construction Machinery (hereinafter referred to as the “summit”) co-hosted by Changsha Municipal People’s Government and CCCME was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Zheng Chao, Executive Vice President of CCCME and Chairman of the Expert Committee, delivered an opening remark and a keynote speech on the topic of “Opportunities and Challenges of High-Quality Development of Outbound Investment and Cooperation in the New Era”. Peng Huasong, Executive Vice Mayor and Standing Member of the Municipal Committee of the CPC of Changsha, Hunan Province, and Jimmy, the Ambassador of the Philippines to China, attended the event and delivered speeches. The summit was presided over by Liu Yongqiang, Deputy Secretary General of CCCME.
