On December 11, CCCME Executive Vice President and Chairman of CCCME Expert Committee Zheng Chao led a team to visit Hong Kong. Expert Committee member Yang Fei, Deputy Director of International Industrial Cooperation Service Center Li Yawei, and Senior Manager of Exhibition Department Xue Yiqi accompanied the visit.

  During his visit to Hong Kong, Executive Vice President Zheng paid a call on Economic Affairs Department Deputy Director-General and Head of Commercial Office of the Liaison Office Liu Yajun. Both sides exchanged insightful views on promoting economic and trade development between the mainland of China and Hong Kong through the platform and channels supported by CCCME.

  On the sidelines of the visit, the team held several rounds of pragmatic and in-depth talks with the Assistant Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Jenny Koo, on further strengthening the all-round cooperation on hosting large-scale events, exhibitions and fairs. During the conversation, both parties expressed their wish to establish a regular mechanism to facilitate cooperation, bridge corporate dialogue between the two sides on economic and trade issues, and support the quality development of Belt and Road Initiative. Director of Marketing and Platform Development Iris Wong, Associate Director of Business Development Mandy Ng, Associate Director of International and Mainland Relations Cathy Yip, Section Head of Business Development and Exhibitions and Digital Business Development Vivian Chan, and Manager of International and Mainland Relations Vincent Wong attended the meeting.
