CCCME With Other Chambers of Commerce Co-release “Joint Initiatives for Cooperation among ASEAN Plus Three Chambers of Commerce in Industrial Chain & Supply Chain”

 On July 29, 2022, ASEAN Plus Three Forum on Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Cooperation·Taihu East Asian Entrepreneurs Forum was successfully held in China (Suzhou). Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua delivered a video speech. Governor of Jiangsu Province Xu Kunlin delivered a video speech. Assistant Minister of Commerce of China Li Fei addressed the forum. Vice President and Economy and Finance Minister of Cambodia Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister of Thailand Jurin Laksanawisit, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs of Indonesia Luhut Pandjaitan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Economic Affairs of Malaysia Mustapa Mohamed, Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore Gan kim yong, Minister of Trade, Minister for Industry and Energy of Korea, Agn Dukgeun, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dato Lim Jock Hoi, and Deputy Chief of WTO Zhang Xiangchen delivered video speeches respectively.
  It is a time of unprecedented global changes and once-in-a-century pandemic. Against this backdrop, the stability of global industrial and supply chains has been greatly affected. Therefore, it is of great importance to strengthen regional industrial cooperation so as to improve resilience of industrial and supply chains. During the forum with the theme of “Connecting Chains; Promoting Prosperity”, CCCME and other chambers of commerce and trade associations jointly released “Joint Initiatives for Cooperation among ASEAN Plus Three Chambers of Commerce in Industrial Chain & Supply Chain”. The 13 chambers of commerce and trade associations are CCCME, National Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Brunei, Federation of Khmer Chinese in Cambodia, Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association, Japanese Association for the Promotion of International Trade, Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malaysia Semiconductor Industry Association, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Chamber of Commerce & industry, Singapore Association of Small & Medium Enterprises, Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
