CCCME Successfully Holds UKCA Guidance Webinar
On July 20, 2022, CCCME and CBBC co-hosted “UKCA Guidance Webinar.” From January 1, 2023, the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking will replace the longstanding CE marking. This meeting was to enable enterprises to understand the usage and standards of UKCA, and to reduce barriers in applying for and completing UKCA certification and exploring the UK market. British representatives including government officials and experts from BEIS and CBBC delivered speeches. Over 200 representatives from Chinese enterprises and local authorities of commerce (Shanghai & Shenyang) attended. The enterprises cover the areas of electronic appliances, low-voltage appliances, photovoltaic, agricultural engineering, and infrastructure including CRCC, Shanghai Electric, Zhongtong Bus, CHNT, and CUORI. CCCME Deputy Secretary General Bai Xuefeng attended and addressed the webinar.
