Public-welfare Platform for Export Goods Carbon Footprint Self-assessment Released

On June 15, the National Low Carbon Day, CCCME signed a MOU with GPIPC and co-hosted an online seminar themed “Green and Low-carbon Development for Export Products Through Whole Life Cycle”. A platform for export goods carbon footprint self-assessment was released, aiming to help member enterprises tackle green trade barriers and strengthen their capacity in low-carbon transformation. At the meeting, professionals introduced structure and use of the platform. The participants conducted simulated accounting with the free accounts allocated before, experiencing the whole process of products carbon footprint accounting and conducting in-depth exchanges on problems with their own concerns.
