On March 25, Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan successfully co-organized the China-Uzbekistan Investment Cooperation Forum with the theme of "New Opportunities for Industrial Cooperation". Minister of Commerce of China Wang Wentao and Deputy Prime-Minister for Investments and Foreign Economic Affairs Umurzakov delivered video speeches at the opening ceremony. CCCME Vice President Liu Chun presided over the theme discussion of the forum. Around the digital economy, new infrastructure, health care, the innovation development, information technology and communication development, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Health, Development Agency of Pharmaceutical Industry and other government departments, Electrical and Electronics Industry Association and other industry associations introduced the investment business environment, industry related preferential policies and the potential in key cooperation projects respectively. CCCME President Zhang Yujing delivered a concluding speech, in which he emphasized that China and Uzbekistan have deep cooperation potential, broad prospects for cooperation and many cooperation opportunities in many key areas and Chinese enterprises are full of expectations and hopes for investing in Uzbekistan. CCCME will deeply implement the consensus of government departments of China and Uzbekistan, build a cooperation platform, promote the implementation of projects, provide professional, convenient and efficient consulting services, and make new contributions to the development of China-Uzbekistan economy and trade.
