On November 15, 2021, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun attended and addressed the Business Community Session of the China Xinjiang Development Forum by invitation. The Forum was hosted by the State Council Information Office and the Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The opening ceremony was attended and addressed by the Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee Jiang Jianguo, and the Deputy Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Regional Committee of CPC and Acting Chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Erkin Tuniyaz. More than 110 representatives from more than 30 countries and international organizations, including People’s Republic of China, the Argentine Republic, and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic attended the meeting. The participants spoke highly of the historical achievements made by Xinjiang in various undertakings ever since the 18th CPC National Congress, and made suggestions on promoting the quality development of Xinjiang and the Belt and Road initiative.
