On March 5 2019, CCCME Secretary General Guo Kuilong met with Investment Counselor of the Embassy of Portugal in Beijing Patrícia Conceição, Economic and Commercial Counselor Joao Falardo and their colleagues in CCCME, exchanging views on strengthening future cooperation. Officials from Embassy of Portugal stated that President of AICEP will visit Beijing in March in preparation for Portuguese President H.E. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa’s state visit to China, who will also attend the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in late April. AICEP expected to collaborate with CCCME to organize a promotion event then centering on such sectors as automobile, construction, food industry, medical equipment and clean energy etc. Secretary General Guo promised that CCCME will render full support to this event.
