CCCME Vice President Liu Chun Meets with Costa Rican Ambassador to China
On Feb. 26 2019, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun met with Costa Rican Ambassador to China Ms. Patricia Rodríguez. The two sides engaged in a friendly talk centering on future collaboration.
CCCME Vice President Liu stated that the trade of machinery and electronic products accounts for over 60% of China-Costa Rica bilateral trade. Back in 2007, when Costa Rica first established diplomatic ties with China, CCCME has led a business delegation to visit Costa Rica. CCCME would like to continue its efforts in facilitating more trade, investment and project contracting cooperation between two countries. Ambassador Patricia Rodríguez said that the embassy would like to establish a regular contact mechanism with CCCME such as strengthening information exchanges, co-hosting some promotion events and introducing Costa Rican organization counterparts to CCCME.
The two sides agreed to host a seminar on the business environment of Costa Rica inviting CCCME members to participate in March.
