On September 22, 2020, CCCME holds the EU pre-warning meeting on anti-dumping of optical fibers and cables (online meeting) on the EU's proposed anti-dumping investigation against China's optical fibers and cables. Nearly 50 major companies such as Fiberhome Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Zhongtian World Trade Co., Ltd., YOFC and Xundakang Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. participated in the meeting. CCCME Vice President Wang Guiqing, Director Wang Zhenfu and Deputy Director Yang Bingzhu of the Trade Remedy and Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce attended the meeting. Representatives from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce, Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, Shenzhen Fair Trade Promotion Agency, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and other relevant local commercual authorities participated in the meeting.
    The Legal Department of CCCME introduced the new EU anti-dumping regulations and the case from the perspective of entities and procedures. The meeting also included an online introduction session for lawyers, and a total of 6 lawyers gave introductions on the meeting.
