On the morning of May 29, 2020, CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong attended the preparatory meeting of Chinese Alliance of Responsible Business in Africa (CARBA) and delivered a speech. The meeting was hosted by China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters. Officials from Ministry of Commerce, representatives of domestic trade associations, financial institutions and enterprises attended the meeting.

CARBA is a non-profit organization mainly composed of Chinese enterprises in African countries. As a member of the Steering Committee, CCCME will provide guidance and suggestions for the development planning, key work, major decision-making and major activities of CARBA.
