On January 8, 2019, CCCME President Zhang Yujing, Vice President Shi Yonghong and Vice President Liu Chun held a meeting with officials from Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of MOFCOM. CCCME leadership reported its work last year concerning helping Chinese enterprises go global, boosting outbound investment, safeguarding their lawful interests overseas, collecting their difficulties in running business and conducting self-disciplining measures among industries etc. Officials from Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation fully recognized CCCME’s past endeavors and hoped CCCME continue to play an important role in promoting outbound investment and economic cooperation, depending on its advantages of industrial representativeness and wide networking as a global chamber of commerce.
