On November 18, 2019, in order to help CCCME members expand Mozambique’s coal market, and look for more investment opportunities, CCCME Vice President of Liu Chun and representatives from China Coal Overseas Development Co., Ltd. Met with Mozambique's Ambassador to China, Maria Gustava. VP Liu and Ms. Ambassador exchanged views on promoting bilateral trade and investment and carrying on regular cooperation.

Representatives from China Coal Overseas reported to Ambassador Maria about the coal-electricity integration project in Mozambique, and indicated that they would continue to follow up the progress of the project. Ambassador Maria said that she will assist China Coal Overseas in contacting with relevant government departments and local enterprises to promote the smooth progress of the project.
