Vice President Liu Chun Meets Mozambican Ambassador
On August 3, 2018, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun met with Mozambican ambassador to China Madam Maria. The two sides had in-depth exchange on the issue of bilateral mechanism cooperation, high-level seminars cooperation.
Vice President Liu Chun welcomed Ambassador Maria. She pointed out that 43 years of relations between China and Mozambique developed smoothly. In 2016, the two heads of states promoted the bilateral relations as comprehensive strategic partnership. China has become one of the largest source of investment, major trading partner and the most important contributors of Mozambican infrastructure projects.
Ambassador Maria extended her congratulations to Vice President Liu Chun on the 30th anniversary of CCCME. She said that in September of this year, President Filipe Nyusi would visit China again and attend Forum on China-African Cooperation Beijing Summit. Mozambican embassy would like to cooperate with CCCME, recommending trade investment promotion agency and chamber of commerce to sign cooperation agreement, jointly host seminars and business meetings and promote the business integration between the two countries.
