On May 18 2018, CCCME co-hosted “Introduction Meeting on Cuban Trade and Investment Climate and ” with Cuban Embassy in China and Ministry of Industry of Cuba. CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong and Cuban Ambassador to China Miguel Ramirez Ramos attended and addressed the meeting. Economic and Commercial Counselor of Cuban Embassy introduced Cuba’s social background and economic conditions and 17 key sectors attracting foreign investment. Chief Representative of Ministry of Industry of Cuba’s China Office elaborated on the business opportunities in industrial sectors and “Convención y Exposición Internacional de la Industria Cubana”(Cubaindustria). More than 50 Chinese attendees from more than 30 CCCME member including CEC, CNTIC, CEIEC, CGGC International, CAMCE, POWERCHINA etc. participated. CCCME Vice President Shi Yonghong met with Cuban Ambassador to China Miguel Ramirez Ramos prior to the meeting.
