In order to strengthen members’ understanding of Panama's economic and trade investment outlook, with the support of the Chinese Embassy to Panama and the Embassy of Panama to China, on May 9-11, 2018, CCCME President Zhang Yujing led a trade and investment promotion group of 30 delegates to visit Panama and held related promotion activities.

In the morning of May 9th, CCCME jointly organized the China-Panama Investment and Industry Cooperation Seminar and the business matchmaking conference. CCCME president Zhang Yujing, economic and commercial counselor Wang Jian the China’s embassy to Panama, Executive Chairman Rafael Z IgA of the Panama Agricultural and Commercial Association and Director General Alem N of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Panama Ministry of Commerce and Industry attended the event and introduced the economic and trade situation, investment policy and the financial environment of Panama. Nearly 200 representatives of China and Panama participated and carried out a number of one to one exchanges after the seminar.
