On October 18, under the guidance and support of MOFCOM, CCCME, China Foreign Trade Center and UAE Ministry of Economy jointly hosted “UAE on the Belt and Road—China-UAE Sourcing Matchmaking” on the occasion of the 122nd session of the Canton Fair. The event marks itself a milestone to implement the protocol signed between Chinese Commerce Minister and UAE Economy Secretary at the early September. Commercial Counselor Shen Xiang from Department of Western Asian and African Affairs of MOFCOM, Director Mohamed Naser Hamdan Alzaabi from UAE Ministry of Economy and Deputy Secretary General Ye Jijiang of the Canton Fair attended the meeting and delivered remarks.
