On July 14, 2017, CCCME and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe Law Firm co-hosted Invest in Africa Seminar focusing on legal considerations affecting Chinese investors in Africa. CCCME successfully organized 10 business representatives from companies such as CGGC International Ltd., China National Complete Plant Import & Export Corp., Ltd., China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, etc. participate.
      The seminar commenced with presentations from the Law Firm Partner who provided an overview of the key legal and regulatory considerations for investors entering their jurisdictions. The presentations were followed by audience questions, which generated heated discussion and debate.
