On the occasion of Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Bob Rolfe’s visit to China, CCCME and Tennessee China Development Center jointly hosted China-Tennessee Investment Symposium in Beijing on June 13, 2017. TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe, Assistant Commissioner Allen Borden, CCCME President Zhang Yujing, Vice President Liu Chun, Chief Representative of Tennessee China Development Center Li Weaver attended the symposium and delivered speeches. Executives from CGGC International Engineering Co., Ltd., Fujian Yanan Power Generation Group, Bank of Beijing, Beijing JianYi Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and other ten companies attended the symposium and had warm interactions with Tennessee officials.

Private meeting between CCCME President Zhang Yujing and TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe was held before the symposium. The two sides agreed to establish regular communication and information exchange mechanism, deliver Tennessee projects information and organize online B2B events via CCCME online platform as well as corporate visits. Both sides also agreed to facilitate Chinese companies to go to Tennessee for market, industry and project cooperation thus jointly promoting China and Tennessee economic and trade exchanges and strengthening pragmatic cooperation.
