CCCME Vice President Liu Chun Meets with the Special Envoy of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
On June 7, 2017, CCCME Vice President Liu Chun met with Special Envoy Zafar Uddin Mahmood of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Embassy of Pakistan Beijing.
Special Envoy Zafar welcomed Vice President Liu and introduced the achievements made along the CPEC. He pointed out that there are 27 industrial parks and free-trade zones nationwide, which are given incentives such as tax exemption for ten years by Pakistani Government. He hoped to cooperate with CCCME to jointly organize promotion events for certain industrial parks.
Vice President Liu pointed out that almost all the leading Chinese enterprises in infrastructure, manufacturing, household appliances, information technology sectors are CCCME members. The combination of CCCME’s resource and CPEC opportunities can create a perfect synergy for carrying forward the development of CPEC. She also expressed the willingness to cooperate with the Special Envoy’s office in an effort to pass on the complete equipment projects information, and to tap the cooperation potentials.
