On March 20, 2017, CEO of LafargeHolcim Group Eric Olsen, the world’s largest cement company visited CCCME and met with CCCME President Zhang Yujing and Vice President Shi Yonghong. The two parties held a pragmatic dialogue.
       CCCME President Zhang gave introduction to CCCME and its commitment to serving members in line with the “B&R” initiative. At present, a total of 300 Chinese enterprises are engaging in complete equipment projects along the “B&R” area, out of which 50 are key players and CCCME members account for 90% of those key enterprises. CCCME, identifying itself as a significant platform of pulling all kinds of resources, provides members with a myriad of services such as counseling, training, legal remedy services, etc. CCCME also plays a constructive role in connecting LafargeHolcim Group with CCCME members like PowerChina, China Communications Construction, and China State Construction.

LafargeHolcim CEO Mr. Olsen responded by elaborating on LafargeHolcim’ s business in over 80 countries and its advanced technologies. He promised to provide practical assistance in such cooperation areas as bilateral investment and project contracting.
