On the occasion of Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee of China H.E. Zhang Dejiang’s visit to Finland, Finland-China Business Forum, which was sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of China and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland, and co-organized by CCCME and FINPRO, was held in Helsinki on September 23. Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee of China Zhang Dejiang and Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Maria Lohela attended and addressed the forum. More than 160 representatives from governments, organizations and businesses of both countries joined the event. The participating companies covered such areas as energy conservation, environment protection, electricity, sea transportation, investment, telecommunication, construction material and infrastructure etc.. During the visit to Finland, CCCME also organized some Chinese companies in the sectors of energy conservation and environment protection to visit Sunshine Kaidi New Energy Group Co., Ltd., during which time they were briefed Kaidi’s investment progress and experience in Finland and its international business, the development overview of the technology and industry of Nordic countries as well as the opportunities that Chinese companies might seize.
