On the afternoon of Sept. 8, 2016, CCCME President ZHANG Yujing met with Mr. HE Yemin, the Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai and his colleagues. Vice President Mrs. LIU Chun attended the meeting.

Deputy Mayor introduced several major projects in Zhuhai city. The construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is planned to be completed in the year 2017, which will stimulate economic and trade exchanges between Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao and enhance the international competitiveness of Zhuhai city. Adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, Hengqin FTA with its superior geographical position will promote trade facilitation and implement the complementary strengths. This year, Zhuhai will host a series of large-scale international events mainly targeting at Latin American markets so as to build up a platform for Sino-Latin American cooperation. China Latin American International Exposition will be held next October in Zhuhai.

Both sides said that they will maintain close ties in future work, deepen pragmatic cooperation and jointly assist Chinese enterprises to explore international markets.
