On the morning of June 20, 2016, Seminar on “Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh”, sponsored by Government of Madhya Pradesh and co-organized by CCCME and CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) was held at China World Hotel. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Ms. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, CCCME President Zhang Yujing attended the Seminar together with more than 200 government officials and business representatives of both countries.

CCCME President Zhang Yujing and Minister Chouhan met with each other prior to the Seminar and they exchanged views on strengthening contacts and enhancing bilateral cooperation.

As the co-organizer of the event, CCCME had invited over 100 representatives from more than 50 Chinese companies including China Communications Construction Co., Ltd., China Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., Power Construction Corporation of China, China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Corp., China Machinery Engineering Corp., etc..
