Vice President WANG Guiqing Visited Department of Policy and Legal Affairs of General Administration of Customs PRC
In the morning of June 15, 2016, CCCME Vice President visited Mr. YU Bin, Deputy Director General of Department of Policy and Legal Affairs of General Administration of Customs PRC and other officials from Office of Intellectual Property.
VP Wang Guiqing said, Chinese enterprises are confronting difficulties in intellectual property protection, at the appropriate time,he suggested the establishment of platform among enterprises, chambers of commerce and the customs, where companies can promote intellectual property protection, conduct problems reflection, and protect key enterprises, brands and core technology.
Deputy Director General YU Bin commended the efforts CCCME has made in recent years and noted that the Chinese enterprises do face the real predicament of intellectual property protection, strengthening cooperation with industry organizations to enhance the level of protection of intellectual property rights for Chinese enterprises is one of the focus of the General Administration of customs.
Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation in further work, establish permanent contact mechanism, through regional industry questionnaire and field research, using platforms such as Canton Fair to get in-depth understanding of enterprises. Both sides could also jointly carry out training, disseminate knowledge related to intellectual property rights protection, promote the establishment of brand protection mechanisms, and strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights.
