On April 21, 2016, CCCME arranged its Board Member Company China Metallurgical Engineering & Project Corporation (MEPC) to meet with Algeria Ambassador to China. CCCME firstly introduced that for 16 consecutive years we organized our member companies to participate in the trade show in Algeria. The Vice President of MEPC Mr. ZHU Bangfu briefed the basic information of the company to the Ambassador and hoped to understand the investment cooperation information in mineral and metallurgical aspects in Algeria.

The Ambassador said that in recent years, the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between two countries has maintained good momentum, China has become Algeria’s largest trading partner. He made a detailed introduction to the Arab investment advantages, preferential policy to attract foreign investment and priority investment areas. MEPC Vice President Zhu thanked the Ambassador for his detailed introduction and valuable suggestions, he said that they will start to arrange the relevant investment cooperation; he also hoped to gain the support from the embassy.
