Amphibious aircraft AG600 has nose section ready

The nose section of China's large amphibious aircraft AG600 has completed assembly and is ready to deliver, the AVIC General Aircraft Company announced on March 17, 2015. The 9.5-meter-long section consists of 5,200 components. The AG600, intended to be the world's largest amphibious aircraft, has a takeoff weight of 53.5 tons. It can collect 12 tons of water in 20 seconds and could be used to fight forest fires and in marine rescue.
