Who we are
In 2012, FDI outflow from China reached a record $84 billion, moving China up from the sixth to the third place in terms of outward foreign direct investment, according to an annual report of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTD). China has been recognized by the UN as “the most promising source” of FDI.
The mission of the Investment Promotion Department (IPD) of China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), is to build efficient platforms for cooperation between Chinese and foreign investors and help tailor overseas investment of Chinese companies in the context of global economic integration.
What we do
● Identify suitable Chinese investors for your projects;
● Set up high level business meetings between you or your governments, organizations or companies and Chinese companies;
● Offer guidance and counseling to companies during decision-making, risk assessment, site selection and implementation of projects;
● Circulate Chinese companies the comprehensive information of your country, including legislation and tax regulations, labor issues, permit procedures and incentives;
● Coordinate with government agencies and financial institutions in meeting challenges such as financing or policy constraints.
●Nearly 10,000 members from 24 sectors, among whom are large manufacturers, major engineering companies, electronics giants and leading high-tech companies, such as STATE GRID, HUAWEI, ZTE, SINOHYDRO, LENOVO, SINOCHEM, CHINA RAILWAY, HAIER, CHINA MINMETALS, FAW, GEELY, DELIXI. We maintain close contacts with corporate decision makers and offer considerable insights into industry dynamics;
● Wide connections with financial institutions and competent authorities for overseas investment such as MOFCOM and NDRC;
● Extensive networks with government agencies, mbassies, associations, business entities from more than 130 countries.
